Hi, I'm Jen
I've been a wedding and portrait photographer across five different states for nearly three decades now — chasing real moments, never stiff poses. In 2023 I made the move to the Southeast North Carolina coast, and I've been a little smitten ever since.
I'm drawn to the brick streets, the ironwork, the live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, and the way the light falls on the water at the end of the day. After 100+ weddings and events and several hundred portrait sessions, I've learned to anticipate the moments that matter — to work calmly and confidently so you can simply be present for them.
My style is a quiet balance of classic posing, attention to detail, and documentary coverage — the spontaneous moments alongside the ones you asked for. I favor natural, true-to-life color and editing that reflects how your day actually looked, much like the film techniques that first shaped my craft. I photograph people the same way I photograph place — looking for the real, unguarded moment that's already there.

Every wedding, event, and portrait session is thoughtfully customized to you. We take the time to see your personality through the lens and get to know you, allowing us to create images that feel natural and personal. Our experience of photographing more than 100 weddings and events and several hundred portrait sessions helps us anticipate important moments, work confidently, and consistently deliver exceptional results.
Our style is a balance of classic posing with attention to detail, spontaneous moments, and documentary coverage, creating a collection of images that feels emotional and authentic yet polished. We favor natural, true-to-life colors and editing that reflect how your day actually looked, much like the film photography techniques that shaped our craft. We also believe your memories should truly belong to you. No matter what type of event we're photographing for you, you own all of your high-resolution digital images, giving you the freedom to print, share, and enjoy your photographs however you choose. There is no additional fee for you to receive these images.

Custom Portrait Sessions
$250 for couples and immediate family (up to 1 hour), or $350 for extended family groups including pets (up to 1.5 hours). The session is paid in full on the day, before we begin.
